Rombat SA, the leading car battery manufacturer in Romania, has appointed Alin Ioanes as its new CEO, Automotive-today.ro reports.

The socio-economic context brings new challenges, but it creates enormous opportunities for us. The pandemic has accelerated certain transformation processes, and one of them targets us directly: energy storage.
We have all the prerequisites to be the spearhead of this transformation given the experience and capabilities of research & development,” said Alin Ioanes, CEO Rombat.
Rombat SA, with headquarters in Bistrita, is currently the largest producer of car batteries in Romania. The company is a national leader since 1997.
