China’s Great Wall Motor is seeking to produce vehicles in Brazil, chairman says

Great Wall Motor  is looking for opportunities to use Brazil as a base for vehicle production and expand to nearby regions, the Chinese carmaker’s chairman said in Shanghai on Wednesday.
The impact from U.S. tariffs on Chinese automakers “is there, but not big,” said chairman Wei Jianjun in an interview during the Shanghai auto show, adding that the company has never exported in large volumes to the U.S. market.
