ZEEKR Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (“CATL”) jointly announced that ZEEKR will become the first EV brand to utilise CATL’s Qilin battery, which adopts the third generation of CTP (cell-to-pack) technology.
ZEEKR 009, the world’s first electric luxury MPV, will be the first vehicle to utilize the new generation of battery pack with deliveries beginning in the first quarter of 2023.
ZEEKR 001 will utilise the Qilin battery tech from 2023 onwards, giving a driving range in excess of 1000 kilometres on a single charge with first deliveries of the updated battery model being shipped in the second quarter of 2023.
